The Byrd Robin 2 (BY10PBK2) is a great all-round knife for general use. The compact, folding knife has a closed length of 3.313″ and overall length of 5.687″ with a weight of 61 grams.

The Robin 2 has a flat ground blade made from high-carbon 8Cr13MoV stainless steel. The drop point blade measures 2.438″ in length and 0.093″ in thickness. For one-handed opening, the knife features a comet-shaped hole.

The handle is made of a front and back FRN scale set over a stainless liner, providing a secure and steady grip when cutting, in addition to resisting chemicals, oil and temperature extremes.  The welcome addition of a four-way clip offers the option of carrying the folder tip-up/tip-down or left-right-handed and a lanyard hole located at the back of the handle accommodates a secondary-retentive thong or cord. The handle of the Robin 2 features jimping (crosshatching) along the spine, making a textured section where the thumb rests, creating tactile resistance that restrains the folder from sliding and slipping when cutting.

The knife has a back lock to ensure the blade is secure when the knife is in use.
