The Nitecore MH2A is a rechargeable flashlight that comes supplied with a Nitecore Li-ion rechargeable battery (NL1427) plus mico-usb charging lead.

The MH2A can also be powered by two AA (alkaline or NiMH) batteries – but do not recharge these inside the torch. The orch cannot use 14500 li-ion batteries.

To charge simply plug the supplied lead into the micro-usb port, without the need to remove the batteries from the torch.

Useful features include a removable and reversible pocket clip, anti-roll head, forward click switch with momentary-on ability, smooth parabolic reflector for long throw, able to tail stand for use as a candle and waterproof to two meters.

The MH2A has four brightness levels plus strobe and SOS flashing modes. With the head in the tightened position the light will activate in turbo mode. With the head slightly loosened the light will cycle through the other three brightness levels and two flashing modes. These levels have memory function.

Brightness levels based on 1xNL1427 1500 mAh battery :

• Turbo – 600 lumens: 1 hour 15 minute runtime
• High – 233 lumens: 2 hour 30 minute runtime
• Mid: 80 lumens: 7.5 hour runtime
• Low: 22 lumens: 26 hour runtime
