Nitecore MT06MD

Description

The Nitecore MT06MD has been specifically designed for use by medical personnel and first responders but also adapts itself to a multitude of other applications. Powered by two AAA batteries this pen light is lightweight and easy to carry in a pocket or bag.

Please note, our stock is the latest version of the MT06MD which does not have the pupil gage shown in the images.

The high colour rendering (CRI >90) Nichia 219B LED outputs a beam with a similar light profile to sunlight, which allows users to see details other lights ‘wash out’. The colour rendering index (CRI) is a measure of the ability of a light source to reveal the colour of various object acurately. The higher the CRI, the more likely it is to display an objects true colour with the highest possible CRI value being 100 and regular LEDs generally have a value of around 70.

Another well thought out feature of the MT06MD is that it will default to turn on at the low mode of 4 lumens, which is helpful for doctors intending to shine this light into people eyes 😉 In addition to the low mode the MT06MD has two higher brightness levels:

Brightness Levels and Runtimes

High: 180 Lumens – 45 minute runtime
Mid: 45 Lumens – 5 hour runtime
Low: 4 Lumens – 35 hour runtime

Maximum range of 58 meters and waterproof to IPX8 (waterproof and submersible).
