Nitecore New P30

Description

The Nitecore New P30 is a long range handheld torch with a range of up to 618 meters. This model differs from the original P30 in that it can be powered by a single 21700 Li-ion battery for improved runtimes. Included with the torch is a Nitecore NL2150R 5000mAh battery with USB-C charging port, a USB-C cable is also included. In addition to 21700 cells the New P30 can be powered by an 18650 Li-ion when used with the provided battery tube. We are seeing more torches move towards 21700 batteries due to their increased capacity and a likely to be the future of cylindrical batteries.

The New P30 features a Cree XP-L HI V3 LED, which is optimised for long range and housed inside a deep polished reflector. This would make an ideal searchlight or for hunting purposes. Despite the New P30s long range and extended runtimes it is still very compact and can also be weapon mounted. The head of the P30 measures 50mm in diameter so it is compatible with a wide range of Nitecore filters.

Operation is via a dual button interface; the tactical tail switch has momentary-on function and the side switch is used to change mode / brightness. A blue light inside the side switch flashes to indicate the battery voltage.

Brightness Levels, Runtime and Range: (Using included 5000mAh 21700 battery)

Turbo: 1000 lumens – 1 hour 15 minutes runtime – 618 meters

High: 400 lumens – 4 hours runtime – 425 meters

Medium: 220 lumens – 7 hours runtime – 299 meters

Low: 70 lumens – 23 hours runtime – 175 meters

Ultralow: 1 lumen – 950 hours runtime – 21 meters

Strobe, SOS and Beacon (1000 lumens)

ATR (Advanced Temperature Regulation) regulates the output of the New P30 according to the working condition and ambient environment to maintain optimal performance and prevents damage to the LED from overheating.

Waterproof to IP68 (2 meter submersible).

Nitecore New P30 includes: Nitecore NL2150R 21700 5000mAh USB-C rechargeable li-ion battery, pocket clip,  wrist lanyard, spare o-ring, spare tail switch cover, battery magazine, belt holster and USB-C charging cable.
